Location of the Favourites item/folder

I would like to know the location of the Favourites folder (or file). I have assumed it is somewhere under ~, but cannot find a likely candidate.

Please advise.

In Plasma, the favorites are stored in the file ~/.config/kactivitymanagerd-statsrc.
