Get the error in title, next line “Error: failed to mount: ‘UID: XXX’ on real root. You are now dropped into emergency shell. sh: can’t access tty: job control off”
Background, install stable update on Friday, restart with no issues. Used yesterday, no issues. Turned on this morning with above error.
Did try a previous snapshot, get the same error.
That says it all - doesn’t it?
Your file system on the root could be damaged.
You will need this
[root tip] [recovery] Basic Manjaro Linux Rescue and Recovery
You will need to fix the file system (before chroot) - if that is the issue - but you won’t know until you checked.
EDIT:
If the issue is file system damage - be sure to use the correct procedure.
