Hi,
My pamac is:
Not showing all the apps I know are available in AUR
Not showing snap options
I have 10.0.5-1 pamac.
I’ve done pacman -Syu but it says I’m up to date.
Done refresh databases in pamac and that also says same.
But I can’t see rclone browser, skype and loads of other basic apps that should should.
Any ideas how to resolve please?
thanks
the post seems to say pamac aur is blocked again a few hours ago?
Is aur accessible with yay?
I tried yay -Syu but that didn’t help either?
I just installed vmware-workstation with yay so it is working

tried changing to different wifi connection so different IP address.
The post says that resolves things, but I get below error and aur still not updated?
yay -Syu

So you’re fully up-to-date. Nothing to upgrade on your sys.
I can access aur via yay or bauh, so will do that for now until pamac resolved.
As a side note, do you know why my pamac doesn’t show snap options?
Pamac installed via yay on EndeavourOS had much more options.
I’ve tried removing the pamac that comes with manjaro and to install pamac-all which had snap/flatpak on endeavouros, but get below error.
yay -S pamac-all

Do you activate it in the pamac preferences? There should be snap, flatpak and aur toggles.
no options in this version of pamac that came with manjaro.
tried removing and installing pamac-aur which has newer version but that doesn’t help.
pamac-all worked fine and allowed snap/flatpak although aur still doesn’t show with it.
oh well.

Have you pamac-snap-plugin
and pamac-flatpak-plugin
installed? If not, it won’t appear in Pamac preferences.
somehow pamac-all works with snap/flatpak without the plugins being installed.
Might aswell just stick to this I suppose.
That’s because pamac-all
includes them. Hence the -all
suffix.
This may be due to the limitations imposed by Arch on the AUR api.
