Libxft-bgra not available?

I’m using the st terminal, which crashes rendering emoji without libxft-bgra. It’s not available from either pamac or pacman; is there any way I could get around this, or do I need to wait for the maintainers to add it to the repository?

If you enabled AUR support in Pamac it is:
