LibreWolf: how to change UI language to something else than English (US)

Since switching from the librewolf-bin package from AUR to the new librewolf package from the extra repository, the browser’s UI language is US English and I can’t find a way to change that.
When I go to Settings / General / Language / Choose the languages used to display menus[...] / Set Alternatives... the select box Select a language to add... is disabled.

I have tried to manually install the German language pack from Language: Deutsch (German) – Get this Language Pack for 🦊 Firefox (en-US) but that didn’t change anything AFAICT.

What to do to change LibreWolf’s UI language?

There should be any notable differences between the previous AUR custom build result and Arch Linux build.

I am guessing - install the language package - like one need to do with firefox?

After looking into this more deeply - in LibreWolf navigate to

about:preferences#languages

The issue should be fixed in librewolf v153.0.3_1-5:

It shouldn’t be too far away from hitting Manjaro’s Unstable repo:

The difference I noted is that the install size of the extra package is about 285 MB smaller than the AUR package’s. Might be due to missing language data and might be the reason for my problem.

I don’t see a languages section in my LibreWolf’s preferences.
Anyway, as already said, the setting, which should allow me to change the browser language, does not offer anything to change to.
