Latte Dock not showing in Cinnamon

I’ve installed Latte, rebooted. I’ve started latte from the menu but nothing shows on the desktop

I can see it in my processes

What is amiss?

I am currently facing the same problem on a fresh installation of Manjaro KDE.
My Latte Dock’s layout is in .config/latte/ and it is not empty, containing all the launchers I’ve put in the dock.
There are several strange things happening:

  • I can right click on the bottom of the screen and have access to Latte’s menu;
  • If I select WhiteSur layout, the dock shows up, with the launchers pre-defined in this layout;
  • However, if I change back to my layout, the dock disappears again - its menu is still accessible via a right-click;
  • If I create a new layout, it shows up; I add all the launchers I want, but when I restart the computer, the problem persists, i.e., the layouts I created are not visible anymore.

Does anybody know why is this happening?

My configuration:

I think I found the problem! It has to do with the “Windows Can Cover” option. Selecting another option for visibility makes the dock visible again.
I’ll try to report this issue to the developers.

@psionman, have you sorted it out? Did you find the same thing?
