Laptop screen glitching

I have a Asus Vivobook 15 X512FJ, my screen’s lower half portion shifts to the right for a split second, sometimes the whole screen glitches like that, but for a fraction of a second. I do data entry jobs, and sometime code and these shifts has been very harmful for my eyes…Is there a fix for this?
So, far I have tried:

  1. Setting kernel parameter i915.enable_psr=0
  2. Fresh Install
  3. Turning of Compositor in Window Manager.
  4. re-installing the Video-linux driver that was installed in my laptop
  5. creating a conf file in /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d to specify Intel graphics
  6. Updated the BIOS from version 301 to 308
    Thanks in advance

Try using a different linux compositor.

I have tried GNOME, but the screen glitching still persists. Should I try KDE now??

I have no idea what you are trying to accomplish. Please provide some data regarding your hardware install (inxi -Fxxxz or similar).
