Laptop freezes resuming after suspend-to-ram

Hello,
I've a Asus N752VX laptop and I'm using Manjaro KDE.
I have a strange problem with it: my laptop randomly freezes after suspend to ram. I close the lid and when I open the lid back, sometimes it freezes, no responses at all. Even trying REISUB, no response, I only have to force shutdown by pressing power button. The HDD light of the laptop remains lit. I thought it was a login manager problem, but changing from XFCE to KDE and switching from LightDM to SDDM gave no good news.
I use TLP, nouveau graphic driver. I've tried to blacklist it into TLP, using:

RUNTIME_PM_DRIVER_BLACKLIST="nouveau nvidia"

but I had no good results. I'm running 5.4.6-2-MANJARO kernel, but I think kernel is not influent, since the problem existed with all the versions I've tried before.
I've tried also to modify boot parameters, deactivating apparmor or mitigations, like this:

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="apparmor=0 security='' udev.log_priority=3 mitigations=off"

but it seems nothing different happens.

I would still test alternate kernels including the real time kernels and kernel 5.5.

Also try disabling your compositor and your network prior to suspending.

Compositor is disabled, nothing changes with kernel 5.5. I've created this script into /lib/systemd/system-sleep/ :

Which kernels exactly have you tested. I would be sure you have tested 4.14, 4.19, and at least one of the real time kernels.

This could also be a symptom of a bios that is faulty. Is your bios up to date?

Any progress on this? I've seem to have the same problem and can't find any solutions for it. Always have to hard reboot my computer after waking from sleep

As I do not have your computer model it is impossible for me to troubleshoot this for you. As I stated earlier if testing different kernels does not fix this then testing different kernel boot parameters may help.

Bumping a 2 month old post without adding any extra information is rather pointless. Please post the fixes you have attempted. Even if they did not work, the information could be useful for others with similar hardware.

Empty bumps are frowned upon on technical support threads. Please post some information that will be useful to others if you insist on resurrecting an old thread.

Think I found a solution that works for me. I ended up disabling the tlp.service. Has been working great since then.

Thank you for posting what you discovered. Sadly TLP has been causing a lot of problems lately.

With a laptop tlp is quite important to have, and you should really install it again. The proper way to troubleshoot this is to methodically work though the tlp settings changing one thing at a time.

USB and wifi/bluetooth settings are often the culprits when it comes to suspend issues with tlp configuration. If you find out anything further please post your findings.
