Random reboots was occurring on my machine

I was having random reboots occur on my machine today and yesterday ( i did some trouble shooting and reverted back to 5.15) I was on 5.19 and was wondering when random reboots occur does it mean it could hardware or software issue, because in terms of hardware my system is fine. Any tips or advice would be great if the reboot re-occurs again thanks.

Seems a bit late to reply to this topic but I also experience random reboots while running any kernel above 5.15 LTS. I don’t know if the issue is related to the kernerl, kde plasma or drivers. Just hoping people with the necessary technical knowledge have it fixed eventually. In the meantime, I get system freezes on 5.15 at random times but it’s not often. When it happens, I get to reboot my system safely using the r-e-i-s-u-b method with SysRq key instead of holding the power button to force a shutdown (my laptop has no reset button). The reisub method is explained clearly in this video: The Magic SysRQ Key on the Keyboard
