Hi!

  1. About text format:
If you want to hide the text, pulse first on the icon and paste the test between “[details=“Title”]” and [/details]. About the title/link of the text, well, it’s really self-explanatory.
  2. About your post, if your problem is that the system is taken to much time to boot up, follow this
    Slow system boot time
Also you can mask or disable all the services you don’t really need like cups, print service.
If you want to disable just run this
sudo systemctl stop org.cups.cupsd.service && sudo systemctl disable org.cups.cupsd.service
This are some services that you can disable/mask depending of your needs
    1- Disable
  • snapd.service # if you don’t use any snap applications or plan to
  • snapd.apparmor.service # also for snap applications
  • snapd.socket # also snap
  • bluetooth.service # it really doesn’t need to explain
-ModemManager # if you don’t use any xG interfaces
  1. Mask
  • lvm2-monitor.service # if you don’t use it
  • NetworkManager-wait-online-service

Back to the issue at hand. But if you problem is about a lagging plasma, we need to see other info.
Please post the output of inxi -G, check the compositor, it should be in opengl3.1

It doesn’t seem to be lack of disk space. Do you see any high disk activity when it gets slow? If not, check available ram with free when it gets slow. You can also check cpu load with htop.
