Have GNOME touchscreen gestures changed lately?

Hey. Anyone experiencing different touchscreen behaviour after the last couple of updates? I mean these:

https://help.gnome.org/users/gnome-help/stable/touchscreen-gestures.html.en

“Activities” overview used to work on tap, now I have to “tap & hold”.

I can no longer display notifications list or system menu by swiping down on them, now I have to “focus” them by tapping first, then swiping down, or double tap.

The “return” key on the on-screen touch keyboard no longer works, at all.

Other gestures seem to work fine. I ask because I’d like to discover if this a kernel thing (bumped 5.9 to 5.10) or a GNOME thing. Thanks!

Nope. I can’t reproduce any of that on my touchscreen laptop.

Thanks for the reply, off debugging I go then.

Rolling back to 5.9 did not help, so it doesn’t seem like a kernel regression.

Here is my system information:

What should I try next? The gestures don’t bother me that much, what I mind is the return key not working with the GNOME on-screen keyboard, as that means i can’t use the device in tablet mode very well. Should I report a bug? Where? Does the on-screen keyboard have its own repo?

A weird thing i noticed; most of the time I work with EN (USA) keyboard layout, but when I switch to CS layout (my language), then the backspace on-screen keyboard key stops working too.
