Holmes I have a question? Is there a chance that next RC will have “better support for multimonitors”?
By that I mean - is it possible to have 2 panels (I have 2 monitors) on both screens at the same time OTB?
I’m a i3wm addict (witch has the multimonitor support OTB), but I’m looking for a more “clickable” WM for my wife.
I really like JWM for being lightweight and having support for keybindings/shortcuts.
Can U help with that, or at least point me to some solution for having two panels (or even 4 - 2 panels per screen) like in my i3.

#162

I would interpret this phrase this way: This software is so good (inherently harmless, peaceful, cozy, productive, frugal) that you can even abuse it (use in wrong, excessive, unintended way) and you will do nothing wrong.

or yet

#164

Maybe I wasn’t clear. I have both monitors enabled OTB. My issue is: how to make 2-4 PANELS at the same time OTB.
Is there a chance to make a script for checking the number of screens/monitors plugged in and then spawning as much panels as the number of monitors?? E.g.: script checks that I have 2 monitors and spawns 2 exact same panels, each on one screen.

#165

hi @mojz3sz
try this

xrandr --output VIRTUAL1 --off --output eDP1 --off --output DP1 --off --output DP2 --off --output HDMI2 --off --output HDMI1 --mode 1280x1024 --pos 1280x0 --rotate normal --output VGA1 --mode 1280x1024 --pos 0x0 --rotate normal

Still not the answer to my question
Here, look:

As You can see I want to have 2 or even 4 panels on two monitors at the same time.
Just like I pointed red on the left scren on my screenshot.

Unable to install nvidia driver! :frowning: Hangs tightly after a reboot, Started TLP system. I am not very sad, i fell in love Kibojoe! Kibojoe on one the highest pedestal, along with Mint 18.2 Sonya! P.s. Manjaro supports NVIDIA’s Optimus technology out of the box… – Philip Müller. / On my hardware doesn’t work ( Manjaro XFCE Edition - Cinnamon - i3 )!
