Perhaps it was some issue with light package because now I see it has disappeared from the repository altogether.

I checked other packages in terminal and I can download them
e.g
wget http://repo.kibojoe.org/stable/x86_64/wallpapers-kibojoe-1709-2-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz

@Holmes

bashrc is NOT that tricky.

Using the existing Kibojoe/JWM bash/bashrc’s, …, is not the real problem, that, and the switching/converting to your overly-deterministic “zsh” could be done later, it’s not a big deal.

yes, later.
Let’s just get that darn JWM profile over first, in m-a, without any strings attached, and not worry about this, or that specific .zshrc thingy, pleeeezzzz. ?

You guy’s are all fantastic, thx.

Unless, of course, someone is pulling the “chicken-switch”, yet again ?

Sorry, I got temporarily employed and Easter time is the second busiest time of the year, + there is now some stuff to be done for the release of the official editions, so there is going to be a delay

#285

Hi,
How can I permanently enable session Items from menu i.e Battery,Volume,Network and others rather than manually enabling them so they load automatically when I start a session every time?

#286

For now, that, and other specific JWM issues, are best taken up with @Holmes directly, or more generally, their Kibojoe/JWM distro Forum site.

Right now, Manjaro does not “itself” have, nor support, an Official, nor Community image of a Manjaro-based JWM, afaik, however, there are many patrons here who may be able to help you out.

Another try with KiboJoe. Deleting the /home partition seems to have sorted out my previous login issues. Now I’m having an issue with my bluetooth mouse. I have done all the usual

  1. installed bluez , bluez-utils
  2. Enabled bluetooth.service
  3. checked rfkill
  4. installed blueberry as a bluetooth manager

Still struggling to get my mouse to work!
