Keyboard shortcut woes

Ok - very long story cut short…

I have added a NEW keyboard layout…
I now have English (US) for my intl keyboard
Plus Thai.

Now I had an issue creating a shortcut for ‘KP_HOME’ which did work (and I had to turn off Numlock to send KP_HOME instead of KP_7).
However, when I turned Numlock ON again, (and checked in the shortcuts entry that it would enter Num_7) it sadly doesn’t enter numbers.

So I figured there’s an issue maybe in how numpad works…
So a quick and dirty solution is to ADD a new layout…

Now we have English (US) and English (US) variant US, intl., with dead keys

So my question now is - how do I edit the KP keys for one variant/layout (as I don’t want it changed for the main or Thai keyboard).

Did you test this new keyboard with other computer if it is defective after buying?

I have one wired, one wireless, and one keypad to test. It’s something to do with how Numpad works I believe. If you set KP_PgUp then KP_9 won’t type a number.

Now they’re just media keys and Numlock can’t get them back…

So next question, is it possible to edit one US keyboard layout and have ‘USNum’ and ‘USMed’ versions to switch - because switching layouts is as easy as doing NumLock too.
