Hello after updating manjaro my mouse and keyboard stopped working. I have tried reinstalling manjaro from kde to xfce to see if that would solve the problem but it seems to be related to manjaro. While the xfce iso boots i get this message and my keyboard still does not work!

The message being: ERROR: ‘/dev/disk/by-label/MANJARO_XFCE_212PRE1’ device did not show up after 30 seconds
sh: can’t access tty; job control turned off
The ISO you downloaded seems to have gotten corrupted. Did you check the file before making the live install media?
As for your updated system, for the same reason why the ISO was not ok, you might have had a partial update. Also, mixing KDE with XFCE is not a great idea.
Try to boot into fallback initramfs from advanced grub menu, and do a mirrors update and system update again.
