Thanks @linux-aarhus. Unfortunately it keeps occurring even with the newer kernels (even on pure arch and with the Linux mainline kernel it seems), see here for a discussion:

It seems like in Fedora it is working fine so the Fedora developers have likely found the solution. The answer thus probably lies somewhere in the Fedora 6.10 kernel patch:

However, I am no kernel developer. Is there a way to report this as a bug for someone from the Manjaro team to look into? I’d be happy to provide debug info from my laptop to help nail this down.
