Hello, kernel 6.1.41 doesn’t work with Truecrypt 7.1a, it runs, but can’t mount truecrypt files to folders. Kernel 5.XXX - it works fine.
Thanks.
Kernel 6.1.41 is outdated. The current 6.1 kernel in Manjaro Stable is 6.1.44-1. You should update your system and merge your .pacnew
files.
sudo pacman-mirrors -f 5 && sudo pacman -Syyu
This is no longer maintained. The development of TrueCrypt ended in 2014. If your system is fully updated TrueCrypt won’t start. If you look for alternatives, have a look here:
https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Data-at-rest_encryption
In addition zulucrypt is able to read and write Truecrypt containers.
Or look for latest comments in Archlinux wiki if you want to try keeping the TrueCrypt package alive somehow:
I have kernel 6.1.44 now and it doesn’t work. But kernel 5.XXX works fine.

Thanks for answer, I know. But I think it is the last non compromited software. And kernels 5.XXX can work with it. At the same system, I just choose kernels. The same libs etc. So it is not issue with truecrypt, but with kernels. I think there is a bug somewhere with 6.XXX branch.
Veracrypt is in the repositories, and is supported (unlike unmaintained for 8 years AUR), and opens Truecrypt containers. I think it is clear what you have to do.
