Okay I am losing my mind, my kdewallet likes to intermittently not auto-unlock (fails 8/10 times I’d say, making me need to type my password twice)
I have scoured every existing guide on how to fix this, and I have come to the conclusion that something with a recent update has caused this, but I really don’t know how to fix it.
Some other interesting things, are the fact that if I do a sudo reboot now as opposed to a sudo shutdown now, I have a higher likelihood of not getting asked twice for my password.
Troubleshooting steps I have tried so far
- Reinstalled kdewallet
- Reinstalled kdewallet dependencies (this fixes it for 2-3 days? how? lol)
- Deleted my kdewallet and made a new one
- Deleted my kdewallet, rebooted, opened brave & made my kde wallet that way (this fixes it until I do a cold boot, reboots are fine!)
Useful info:
- Using stock manjaro KDE install
- [bryantdl7@bryantdl7-20en001sus ~]$ uname -r
5.10.18-1-MANJARO
No matter what I try, I keep coming back to this irritating bug. Does anyone know how I can fix this?
