KDE Mouse/Pointer Speed Resetting on Boot

Hi,

my pointer speed in KDE is resetting every time I reboot.

I set the mouse speed in the System Settings → Input Devices → Pointer speed to the value I want (6th bar) → Hit “Apply” and everything is great.

After reboot, the mouse is much faster. When I go into the settings, they don’t seem to be changed. Pointer speed is still on the 6th bar. To fix it, I have to move it to a different value, hit apply, move it back to the one I want and hit apply again.

Any idea why this happens and what I need to do to set my pointer speed permanently? Any troubleshooting ideas are much appreciated.

Thank you!
