Kate not remembering sessions

‘Load last used session’ is enabled in Kate’s settings but everytime it’s opened it just starts with a blank document.

Any ideas why this happens?

  2. Does this also happen under a new user (E.G. forumperson2)

From within Kate’s settings menu. There is a section called ‘Session’.

I just tried creating a new user account to test and the same thing happens.
