What is strange, I have no issue on the other devices… kio are not the same…
I would like to remove kio-git but it will be brake a lot of software… I mean it uninstall a lot of software…

I removed plasma-system monitor right now…
I installed this software in the past, but not on the other x86 64 devices, it explain why I have no issue on the other devices with kate !

The boot don’t pass the login and password, it’s frozen, it is not a joke, I’m not lucky with plasma system monitor
Don’t worry, I have my UEFI usb stick with Manjaro
The problem is solve, don’t install plasma-system monitor !

I did update and Kate is working normally. Start Kate in Terminal and see if it reports any problems. Also check if removing
/home/usercache/kate
changes anything.
Also in
/home/userconfig/
there are some configuration files that contain kate in their name. Move them to another location and see if Kate starts after that.

I had the same issue. The problem was indeed related to the *-git versions of some packages. First I restored a timeshift snap from before the update. In my case, I think I installed them to try the System monitor in February, replacing the original packages. To replace all of them:
