Yes, it is JFS I formatted for installing ArcaOS (OS/2) in the future.
Unexpectedly, on one try booting from DVD, the installer loaded correctly without having to update the system nor graphical interface restarting.
Manjaro is successfully installed now. I don’t know what solved the problem nor the cause, apparently I did nothing new AFAIK/R
