HP Victus doesn't install with open source drivers?

I have been trying to install Manjaro KDE on my HP Victus 5600H Ryzen 5 by open source drivers but it doesn’t work. First, it tries to load then eventually fallback to the os listed on top in the boot loader list.

Do you mean you can’t boot your Manjaro installation USB?

Yeah, I think I have to go with proprietary drivers in order to use manjaro.

Only if you have an Nvidia GPU.

From the description, i’d say your system fails to detect your USB as bootable.
What did you use for making it?

Well, you apparently installed the system, so … now you are chasing different issue.

Thanks for the help and yeah I moved ahead with the proprietary drivers.
