i haven’t tried it yet to know if it works.
it’s under “advanced power settings”.
i just discovered it,so letting other people know.
Are you on the Stable branch?
Did you install any additional package(s)?
I don’t see any such option. Perhaps it depends on the battery / laptop?
EDIT: Shucks. My battery doesn’t support it.
sudo tlp-stat --battery
/sys/class/power_supply/BAT1/charge_control_start_threshold = (not available)
/sys/class/power_supply/BAT1/charge_control_end_threshold = (not available)
no
it looks like this:
i remember now seeing this thread before, but at that time i didn’t have this option.
i’ve got an ASUS TUF.
I just checked tlp-stat
on my Lenovo Legion and it seems supported. However, in the KDE Advanced Power Settings its not there.
Any advice?
EDIT:
Noticed that when I first open the Advanced power management it shows for a split second then disappears after that.
Per your edit, I see the same on my Lenovo Thinkbook, just a brief moment it shows the option before flashing away.
