Issues with latest stable update

New to Linux and new to Manjaro. Latest update broke things :sob:
I don’t know how to go back to things like were before.
I think it has to do with Plasma:

  • All tray icons dissapeared: Dropbox, Teamviewer, Pamac Manager notifications, clipboard contents, VOLUME!!! I can’t set volume with mouse like before.
  • I checked with System Activity (CTRL+ESC): Dropbox and Teamviewer are running.
  • I used to run stuff from Start Menu, just typing the app name, i.e. “Filelight”. It autocompleted and run. Now it doesn’t find apps and can’t run anything typed manually, even from ALT-SPACE bar which appears at the top of the screen.

What should I roll back to previus version? How can I fix this without reinstalling all operating system? It took me a lot of time to configure Manjaro from scratch to now.

Please help and thank you very much

EDITED:

MY BAD!
Had an external HDMI monitor connected to my notebook, which wasn’t connected previously.

So my fault.
Clean install and all working perfectly.

Did the update complete successfully or were there errors?

How did you run the update? I updated my KDE-based system with sudo pacman-mirrors --continent && sudo pacman -Syyu and all is well.
