Issue with virtual machine

,

Hi!
I am a linux noob, I use manjaro but I need windows 10 for a specific task.
I can’t get my virtual machine working no matter how hard I try.
It says “no bootable device”.
I enabled boot menu and the only option where I can see at least the installer is the DVD/CD (2nd) but even there I only get a bluescreen.
Thanks in advance

What is “it”?
The virt-manager GUI?

Perhaps the medium you are trying to boot from is indeed not bootable?
How do you know whether it is?

Can you start/boot other operating systems - like the manjaro ISO, for instance?
… so that you at least know that your setup works …

Virtualbox?

No, it’s the same error. (I also tried Ubuntu)
Sorry I did not include it , i wanted to share screenshots but I can’t post pictures here.

AMD-V is disabled in the BIOS (or by the host OS) (VERR_SVM_DISABLED).

This is what I get every time I want to start it. (In Oracle)

I don’t even get to the point where I could do anything in the guest window because it just doesn’t start for me.

You have to enable AMD-V (the function to run virtual machines on your computer) in the BIOS of your computer.

this

and you still have not clarified which virtualization software you are using
you tagged it “kvm”
or is it virtualbox?

You need to provide more context.
If that wasn’t obvious to you:
You are the one sitting at your machine - no one else can see what you can
or know what you (don’t) know …

Yes. That was it. Thank you.
Sorry for not providing more context, I will next time.
