Issue with Manjaro 25.0.0: Freezing when waking up from suspend mode

After upgrading my system from Manjaro 24.0.0 to Manjaro 25.0.0, I’ve encountered an issue where it gets stuck and doesn’t wake up properly from suspension mode. This has happened every time, even for a short period.

I’ve experienced this problem before, but previously, I resolved it by switching my kernel version from 6.12 to 6.1. However, since the recent upgrade to Manjaro 25.0.0, the issue has persisted.

System Specifications:

  • Distribution: Manjaro Linux (6.1.126-1-MANJARO)
  • Hardware:
    • Laptop: Acer Nitro V 15
    • Graphics Card: NVIDIA RTX 3050 6GB
    • RAM: 16 GB
    • Storage: 500 GB

I’ve tried to troubleshoot the issue, but I’m not sure what’s causing it. I’d appreciate any help or suggestions from the Manjaro community.

If I remember correctly, that issue is fixed with the NVIDIA 570 series driver. To test it out, switch to the Manjaro unstable branch and reboot after the updates complete. I suggest trying the 6.12 LTS and/or 6.13 stable kernels.
