Hello. I noticed that more recent isos are almost always available at Sourceforge (Manjaro Linux download | SourceForge.net). For example, right now, the isos for plasma are one week old, while the ones provided via the official download page, are older. Are those iso files available there for immediate use? If so, how come the official iso’s differ? Please assist, i am (obviously) new to this. Kind Regards
I guess the Download page on the website provide the official current ISO, other sources have regular automated builds, like on GitHub.
Maybe the link is just not updated on the website. All in all this is no issue at all. Just update after install this is the same.
ISOs on sourceforge are builds manually triggered by the release-manager. Sourceforge is an interim location before or where the ISO goes through a last-minute checks.
After these checks they are made generally available using the download page on manjaro.org.
