Question is the Icon placement bug that was in Plasma 6.2.4 and 5 fixed with 6.3?
Can anyone test this by power cycling your monitor to see if your desktop icon placement gets messed up.

my version 6.3.2 no problem
But custom icons are still reset until you right click/escape…

Just ran updated to the latest Stable and for my system with 6.3.2 the issue seems fixed again. I also run a few custom icons and they behave accordingly as well.
My icons are behaving as usual, I have not come across this for a very long time. Perhaps some settings of your shell somehow affect this.

Thank you - you prompted me to move .config and move almost everything back - and it’s cleared up.
