Things that I’ve tried so far. I did everything that @bogdancovaciu suggested. it didn’t worked. I tried another live booting Manjaro xfce also. still the same issue. then i installed windows and thought to update all the drivers and everything from the scratch using Lenovo website and Radeon software both. Still the same issue. Also if i open BIOS it still exists.
Is this a hardware issue or something? I don’t think it should be a hardware problem as the screen looks normal one sec and some flickering happens the next sec then it returns back to normal again. Please help if you can. Also the flickering has increased since the morning now.

Your screen is flickering … We need to narrow down the possible issues.

I’ve added all the system info now, pls check. Thanks!!

There are BIOS updates for your laptop, might start with that BIOS Update for Windows 10 (64-bit) - S340-15API, S340-15API Touch, S340-14API - Lenovo Support RO

That is fine as is a LTS kernel, but you can install and test some newer one, and see if the issue persists.
There is also this part that should help in your case to fix that artifacts/flickering thing AMDGPU - ArchWiki

Unrelated to your issue, but maybe worth looking into it:

I would go by using either swapfile or use zram-generator from our repository.

Other than that, only after taking care of the above i would start looking elsewhere if the issue persists.

Ok thanks!! Let me try fixing all these and see if the problem still exists.

To summarize:

  • started to happen 2 days ago
  • happens in Windows too
  • happens in BIOS also even after update

Conclusion:
Somewhere between the GPU and the display is failing, hardware related for sure.

You could try an external display and see if the issue is reproducible that way. If not, then the GPU is fine, and only have to investigate what fails to provide the signal - bad connector at the pins in the back of the LCD, the cable to it … or could be the inverter board.

Would suggest a repair shop for more investigation, or if it still in warranty period to contact Lenovo.
