Iptables v1.8.7 (legacy): -c packet counter not numeric

Hello

I am at XFCE and i am trying to set iptables from the scratch, to understand this topic better and for better & stable connection. When attempt to set “ssh connections”, i get:

[Chaos@Reigns-z390aoruspro ~]$ sudo iptables -A (INPUT/OUTPUT) -p tcp --dport 22 -m conntrack -ctstate NEW,ESTABLISHED -j ACCEPT
iptables v1.8.7 (legacy): -c packet counter not numeric
[Try `iptables -h’ or ‘iptables --help’ for more information.]
Now i understand the reason of permanent red color, at the ssh connections lines, on firewall screen. I feel that faults i have left, are more than the rights and OS still works with a sense of dignity. Someone help please??

I appreciate your assistance…

I suspect it is a simple typo - resulting in incorrect syntax.
It should be:
-m conntrack --ctstate (two hyphens)
sudo iptables -A (INPUT/OUTPUT) -p tcp --dport 22 -m conntrack --ctstate NEW,ESTABLISHED -j ACCEPT

Here is your inxi output, better formatted
