Internet connection slows down significantly or dies completely when using a bluettoth device

Hi, I’ve been trying to use some bluetooth headphones I Bought with my pc however I’ve experienced significant slow downs in internet speed from 40-50mbs down to almost nothing whenever I am listening to anything using it. I know this may just be a hardware issue but going around searching for a solution brought stuff such as adding iwlwifi with specific options but no luck. Is this some sort of hardware issue, or have I messed up with my drivers or something similar?
