Internet connect but only at bytes, 1 laptop only

I have a dell inspiron 15 that has been using manjaro for years now.
Suddenly this morning I cannot connect to the internet in any meaningful way. The network states it is connected, but when I try to load any site, or connect to any manjaro server I get very very slow speeds of max something like 394 bytes. I have tried turning of the VPN, turning off the firewall (gufw) connecting to a different wireless connection, connecting via the hard line, rolling back the kernal; all which do not work. My desktop (also with manjaro) is connecting just fine. Also other devices (TV, Phones) are having no problems so I dont think it is a router or modem issue.

Here are some specs that might help. This problem did begin shortly after I applied the last update, but I rebooted and used my laptop successfully for hours after the update.

Any help or ideas I could try for further troubleshoooting would be greatly appreciated!

Probably it’s this…

But I don’t don’t know?

can you try disabling your IPv6 address’s and you can also play with your duplex settings that look to be stuck at 10Mb at the moment.

Kernel 5.12 is EOL so please install both 5.4 and 5.10 LTS (Long Time Support) and see which one of the two troubles you least.

Thanks everyone, I have fixed the issue. I believe it was a conflagration of the manjaro DNS problem and a Firefox extenion update problem-- the firefox extension was borking my firefox, and when I checked other ways to connect (trying manjaro servers) it happened to coincide with the DNS thing, making me think it was one big problem instead of 2 small ones.

Thanks again for your help!
