Internal microphone detected but not selectable in apps

apart from the microphone, which isn’t being recognized by the os.

If the OS doesn’t recognize it (eg detect it) how were you able to provide info about it using the commands you show?

Maybe the application you want to use for recording has not been configured properly to use it as input?
