could you check
lspci -vv | grep HD
sudo journalctl -b0 | grep snd_hda

lspci -vv | grep HD prints nothing.

sudo journalctl -b0 | grep snd_hda

Tried a full system upgrade, then downgrading kernel 4.9 to 4.4. After kernel downgrade Manjaro did not boot up, after selecting kernel 4.9, I got my audio back. It seems like it is not detecting plugging/unplugging headphones, I need to manually switch output audio route. Currently I have a “alsa-base.conf” file in /etc/modprobe.d which contains single line that

options snd-hda-intel model=laptop-hp

which seemed has no effect over any codec detection problem until downgrade-reboot-switch back to 4.9 event.

I will update this thread until I get it to working.
