Ah yes, I can see that now. That chip also provides the bluetooth functionality. I guess the bluetooth doesn't work either, but it is worth testing.
Reinstall the linux-firmware package.
You may also want to download and install the linux firmware directly from Intel.

It took a while, but persistance pays off. Often times users become highly critical of Linux because it doesn't just work out of the box in a lot of cases. But for those who are willing to put in the time most wifi issues can be resolved.
