Installing xrdesktop in Manjaro

Hello here,

I am installing xrdesktop following their howto (that I cannot link)

When I issue the installation command yay -S gnome-shell-xrdesktop-git gnome-shell-extension-xrdesktop-git the terminal gives the following error:

looking for conflicting packages...
:: gnome-shell-xrdesktop-git and gnome-shell are in conflict. Remove gnome-shell? [y/N] y
error: failed to prepare transaction (could not satisfy dependencies)
:: removing gnome-shell breaks dependency 'gnome-shell>=1:3.36.0-1' required by gnome-shell-extension-arcmenu

The gnome-shell-xrdesktop-git AUR package provides Provides : gnome-shell=3.38.1.
Could this be the problem?

Any ideas on how I could fix this?

You could try removing gnome-shell-extension-arcmenu before replacing gnome-shell with gnome-shell-xrdesktop-git, then install it back.

Removing gnome-shell-extension-arcmenu and manjaro-gnome-asset worked.
