Installing Nvidia Prime breaks the brightness controls on my macbook pro Mid 2012.
I have followed this tuto: [HowTo] Set up PRIME with NVIDIA proprietary driver

Everything works except the brightness control,

any suggestions?

Is that by the use of the FN keys?
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/MacBookPro9,2_(Mid-2012)#Inverting_FN_keys
Or there is no way to change the brightness at all?
Add in the Section "Device" of the provided config, /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/optimus.conf, this line:
Option "RegistryDwords" "EnableBrightnessControl=1"

The media keys for brightness stopped working after installing nvidia drivers.
I will try adding the line to optimus.conf.
Thanks!

HI, I tried it and it doesn't fix the issue. Also I tried installing nvidia the normal way ( not prime ) and I have the same issue. I really don't know what's going on.

I still haven't found a fix to get the brightness and brightness keys working.
With free drivers it works fine, with Nvidia it just breaks.
