I know a lot of people gonna say they don’t care, because Google is evil and we shouldn’t even be using their services anyway and the whole speech, but I think this is bad news.
A lot of people is gonna change from Chromium to Chrome because of this and that’s bad news to me. Or maybe, hopefully, Firefox, who knows. Anyway, I hope they reconsider this, or find a “meet in the middle” solution.
Several other distros have produced their own versions of Chromium.
Does that fix this problem?
Is Brave going to be a/the solution to this issue?
I can no longer use sync with chromium and already lost bookmarks, sign ins, etc. I thought we had a month or so before loosing support. Degoogling will be faster than I thought.
