Ich habe bei meinem neuen Predator 16S die 1TB Partition mit Windows halbiert, damit ich das System für Dual Boot nutzen kann. Den Manjaro Installer habe ich dann vom Stick gestartet, aber der Installer oder auch GParted sehen die SD nicht, sondern nur den USB Stick, egal ob OpenSource oder proprietäre Treiber. Alle Updates habe ich installiert. Secure Boot ist im Bios deaktiviert.
Was könnte ich als nächstes versuchen?
inxi -zv8 wäre ein guter Anfang, damit wir wissen, mit welcher Hardware wir es zu tun haben.
Installing Manjaro requires the systems firmware to be configured to use AHCI to access the disk.
Für die Installation von Manjaro muss die System-Firmware so konfiguriert sein, dass sie AHCI für den Zugriff auf die Festplatte verwendet.

Hat sich erledigt. AHCI liess sich nicht explizit einstellen. Aber nach dem Deaktivieren von Intel VMD im BIOS wird die SSD auch gefunden.

You could also try adding the vmd the grub kernel cmdline when booting the installer ISO.
Press e to edit the boot entry then navigate to the line linux and append a space and vmd. Then press F10 to continue booting.
Sie können auch versuchen, beim Booten der ISO des Installationsprogramms die Befehlszeile „vmd“ des Grub-Kernels hinzuzufügen.

Mich wundert ein wenig, dass Windoof danach noch funktioniert…
Hm, ist ein zusätzliches Interface, ich gehe davon aus dass die ein Fallback auf irgendetwas anderes machen, wenn sie das nicht finden. Windoof läuft ja auch auf Systemen ohne Intel Chipsatz.
