Install Mate 20.1 stopps at 82% Configure the Hardware

Hello together,
as the title says, the installer always stops at 82% Configure the hardware. No idea, what’s going wrong.

Hi!
Take a look at this

please use ``` over and under log. That is quite better  Thanks.

It seems to stop by configuring/installing the gpu driver… strange.

Thanks for Your answer, unfortunately it did not change anything.

Just to be shure: I started Manjaro as live from a usb-stick, after the first menu appeared, I pressed ‘E’ to edit the start parameters and inserted 'acpi_osi=“Windows 2020” ’ after ‘quiet’ and started with F10. Is that correct?

Hi!
Try to install nonfree drivers while install

You haven’t installed 20.1, but 20.0.1… just saying. Since you installed the Mate version with linux56 (EOL).

Sorry for my typo

Fun fact: I had success installing Manjaro XFCE on this hardware without any problems. Didn’t think, that there are any diffrerences other than the desktop.

No Problem at all. Just correct the title

Could you provide a full log of you current boot (of the live session)?

journalctl -b -0 > ~/journal.log

and run rhe installer please in debug mode:

sudo calamares --debug &> ~/calamares.log

If it is too long please use something like pastebin.com.

Thank you

I guess calamares is on that version a bit outdated and mhwd also.

With nonfree drivers Manjaro does not start the live session.

The last three lines on my monitor are:

[ ok ] Finished LiveMedia Config Script
[ ok ] Finished Initialize Pacman keyring
[***] A start job is running for LiveMedia MHDW Script (12min 30sI no limit)

So I will try calamares --debug

Sorry, that took a few seconds

Journal.log → Journal.log - Pastebin.com
Calamares.log → Calamares.log - Pastebin.com

From what I have seen, You are right. There seems to be a problem with the graphics card.

Maybe I should try the Architect.

Instead of an outdated ISO i would recommend Architect.

OK, I will try the Architect. I will report, what will happen next.

Could not resolve host: repo dot rhindon dot net (I am told that I can’t send links)

But it seems to download files successfully from some other source.

Success!! Thanks every one for helping.
