Install Manjaro XFCE - sha256 sum does not match

I have downloaded manjaro-xfce-26.1.0-260812-linux71.iso twice and both times the sha256 sum does not match the one or your web page. Can someone point me to a site with a download and sha256 that match?

My downloaded sha256sum is

eb8e3d3f455475c06b508f0115e2247e8764562e36176203a2315552c84afc98  manjaro-xfce-26.1.0-260812-linux71.iso

You are downloading the ISO from here, correct?

The ISO manjaro-xfce-26.1.0-260812-linux71.iso at that URL has the following checksum:

eb8e3d3f455475c06b508f0115e2247e8764562e36176203a2315552c84afc98

If the checksum doesn’t match, then it’s usually due to damage during downloading. Please re-evaluate whatever method you use to download the file.

To be clear, the checksum does match this ISO; if it doesn’t when you have downloaded it, this is not a problem with the download source.

If you have a bittorrent application installed (such as Qbittorrent, for example) consider using the provided torrent file instead.

I only use the full Manjaro ISOs, and knew already that the checksums were valid for all three Manjaro editions. Having just downloaded both the full and minimal ISOs for XFCE, I can again verify that the checksums match.

Quick tips: When downloading ISOs (or any large files) it’s often best to avoid using Wireless Internet, wherever possible. Avoid downloading the ISO while downloading other things; likewise, avoid downloading while running resource-intensive applications such as media converters, or while playing games. If downloading using a web browser with many tabs open, this too is a potential recipe for disaster.

Any of these conditions could be the culprit; only you can know your downloading habits, and change them as needed.

What did you get from the iso?

I just downloaded manjaro-xfce-26.1.0-260812-linux71.iso from here and the checksums match.

You haven’t mixed up the full and minimal versions have you?
