Nvidia + Intel display artifacts

I’m using laptop with nvidia rtx2060 discrete graphics and intel-9750h processor(intel uhd 630 integrated graphics) with proprietary driver (video-hybrid-intel-nvidia-450xx).
Problem is similar to tearing, but with artifacts and something like image layering on itself.
I have added config file to xorg.conf.d with

Section “Device”
Identifier “Intel Graphics”
Driver “intel”
Option “TearFree” “true”
EndSection

But it doesn’t help.
I would like to upload image or video or link but I can’t :anger:.
It happens in all applications, only in hybrid mode.
I don’t want to use only discrete graphics because I need battery life.
I don’t know what useful information to add .

It’s a little better, but still some artifacts. In google maps , for example, like half of window appears in lower half with some artifacts, then disappears, screen blinks and everything is normal, if mouse is not moved. So it happens when something is rendering like in google maps. In discord sometimes and in many other applications.

In SuperTuxKart(game for tests of things like this) in menu and tutorial everything normal, but in tracks like Antediluvian Abyss I have a black screen with rare blinks of game. It uses Intel graphics for some reason, but for test it’s not a bad thing.

There is info about graphics, but I don’t understand what exactly and what to do with it :disappointed_relieved:
Info from sudo journalctl -b0 -p4 duplicates and expands info from sudo journalctl -p 3 -xb, so I have left only sudo journalctl -b0 -p4

I’ve learned that ACPI errors can relate to MS faulty code that become standard for ACPI, if problem is there, no can do. Only reverse engineering.

These are the only messages related to video somehow.
Update: it’s about camera.

So the only thing from journal, that can be related to problem, is acpi, but I don’t think that it’s the case.

Under high load on UHD - black screen. I think it’s driver/hardware problem. Same thing in Windows.
UPD: Gave “max performance” mode for integrated graphics in Windows - 100% same problem. Case is closed, I think.

Ah, you dont say … another ‘linux bug’ thats actually a hardware issue? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
(sorry if you dont find it funny … but its kind of a meme)
