Hello, I stack up with one problem (that I already solved by rebooting my laptop). I entered the command “sudo pacman -Suy” and then the password which was incorrect. Then I repeated, but while waiting I entered some numbers. And after this the correct password didn’t work at all. What can be the reason?
It is easy to enter the credentials wrong - as the keypresses are not echoed to the screen.
If you become in doubt when entering the password - pressing backspace repeatedly can clear the buffer and you can restart inputting the credentials.
Be aware that Faillock is enabled by default, it locks users out for 10 minutes after 3 failed login attempts.
Yeah, I understand this. But my problem was that manjaro didn’t recognize the correct pass after two attempts with incorrect one
I have the same problem, what can i do? It is not solved yet
