Hello.
I recently tried updating my Manjaro system (KDE) to the latest version but found, even after a night, that it was stuck running post-transaction hooks. I read online that it was fine to ignore it and so shut the laptop down. Big mistake, I know now.
Anyways I logged in and got the following nerror message:
error: file ‘/boot/vmlinuz-5.12-X86-64’ not found you need to load the kernel first
I read online that you need to complete the installation using a live USB, but that hasn’t worked very well so far (at least in the direction I took it). So I followed the instructions listed here but found that I was stuck trying to move the pacman dB file. Worse still, whenever I boot my laptop, it goes straight to UEFI settings, and changing the boot order of the OS locks it there. Would greatly appreciate assistance in this regard. I’ll provide any extra details if necessary.
