Is it possible to get a version of manjaro where you can choose what comes with it?

I have always used manjaro with KDE Plasma

and with it comes a lot of packages that I will never use like Yakuake, KDE Connect, manjaro hello, avahi server browser and it goes on and on.

Is it possible to somehow build a version of manjaro where you can choose all those optional packages you would like to come with it?

The possibility is always there, what’s not is who wants to do it.

I dont think its actually that much.
You named 4 … can you find 4 more? 4 after that?
Even if so … great … uninstall 12 packages. done.

You can also spin your own ISO … or use manjaro-architect which appears to be somewhat alive again.

Haven’t used it before, but what is the difference between “Minimal” image and “Full” ?
Maybe that is what you want?

It has less packages its true.

The ones prefaced with >extra are not present in the minimal version:

If you filter the list and remove the following lines - you will have the difference between the two

  • empty lines
