Can't install easyabc because abcmidi not found

Trying to install the music notation program easyabc using yay. It starts OK but then aborts with the message:

ERROR: Failure while downloading https://ifdo.ca/~seymour/runabc/abcMIDI-2021.02.21.zip
Aborting…

What can I do about this? It’s particularly annoying because I don’t even want the midi facilities of the program - I only use it for score writing and editing.
