Icons and tab bar missing after update

Hi Everyone,
After update of my OS yesterday all the icons as well as widgets and tab bar from applications have disappeared as shown in the screenshot. How can this be fixed?
The application open in the screenshot is of sublime text and as you can see there is no top bar.

My app icons doesn't show or aren't loading

i have a freshly installed manjaro and have only turned it off once. and the next time i open my puter it just doesnt show icons now. im just a silly little girl and i need help

followed the solution answer to get all the icons and tabbar back

NOTE:

1. in the solution its mentioned sudo pacman -Syu but instead do sudo pacman -Syuu and if there is an issue stating something like package conflict then do pacman -Syuu --overwrite '*'
