This is the error I get when attempting to run fortnite: Failed to initialize BattlEye Service: Driver Load Error (1053).
Fortnite/battleeye does not support Linux. And it likely never will according to Epic Games.
Is there anything I can do to get Fortnite running?

Yes, a platform that Epic officially allows Fortnite to run on. Windows, OS X… but not Linux.
While it is technically possible to run it with anti-cheat battleye, you risk to be banned forever, because fortnite does NOT ALLOW this on Linux because of reasons.
