Hello!I learnt today how to locate a app:
my aplicatiion is /var/lib/snapd/snap/bin/subl
but in filezilla i can’t find the bin in snap so i can’t select subl, what to do?
Hi @Rezeryet,
If you can specify a custom command, you can specify that one. Use the full path, it’ll make things easier.
Hope this helps!
You mean which subl
?Sorry im new to Linux
No, I mean the /var/lib/snapd/snap/bin/subl
command.
well i used which subl in terminal and there it is,but i can t select it in FileZilla.
That’s why I said provide a custom command where you don’t have to select anything.
I can’t see the window, so I can’t give more precise information.
Edit:
If you used which subl
in terminal, it should, theoretically, bee safe to use subl
as the custom command.
Edit 2:
Go to Edit → Settings → File editing. In thhe window, on the right, select “Use a custom editor:”. In the textbox provided, type subl
or /var/lib/snapd/snap/bin/subl
. Make sure the rest of the settings are good and click OK.
It should now be good.
